Throughout the years, the Smoky Mountain Gift Show has been a target of groups trying to offer all types of services from fictitious hotel arrangements to fraudulent lead generation services.

If you come in contact with any scam, you can report this incident at smokymtngiftshow@claironevents.com.

The Smoky Mountain Gift Show does not sell, rent, or distribute any database lists, nor do we disclose email addresses. Statements claiming to offer these attendee lists are fraudulent. If you receive a message from a source outside of the Smoky Mountain Gift Show, please do not interact with them. Valid Smoky Mountain Gift Show emails will include “Email ID Text”@clarionevents.com.

All Smoky Mountain Gift Show approved housing vendors will be clearly noted on the Smoky Mountain Gift Show website. Any solicitation coming from housing companies for room reservations at our hotels is a scam. Please delete the email immediately and do not interact with the sender. Note that Connections Housing is the only housing vendor for the Smoky Mountain Gift Show. The only email affiliated with them is
giftshows@connectionshousing.com.

As an exhibitor, you may be contacted by unauthorized service providers for audiovisual, carpet, exhibitor directory listing, etc. — who claim to be affiliated with The Smoky Mountain Gift Show. These solicitations may appear to provide cost savings; however, the rates listed could be misleading and, in some cases, the vendor may not be a credible supplier. The vendor for booth services is The Expo Group.

Bad actors frequently target small businesses and use a variety of tactics, including typosquatting, in an attempt to appear more convincing. If you ever have any questions related to payment, changes in instructions from Clarion, or anything else, please always give us a call prior to issuing payment.
